We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can make learning practical, engaging, and effective.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced English Tutor / Academic Instructor to provide personalized English instruction and academic support through engaging, structured, and goal-oriented lessons.This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for a qualified educator who can assess student needs, develop customized learning plans, deliver interactive lessons, and track academic progress in an online learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to students' age, ability, learning goals, and proficiency level.Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, speaking, pronunciation, and practical communication skills.Develop lesson plans, worksheets, exercises, presentations, assessments, and digital learning materials.Assess students' abilities and identify areas requiring additional academic support or development.Create individualized learning plans and adapt teaching methods based on student progress.Provide academic guidance, constructive feedback, and practical strategies for improving English proficiency.Monitor student attendance, participation, performance, and learning progress.Conduct quizzes, assignments, practice activities, and assessments to measure learning outcomes.Encourage students to participate actively and develop confidence in using English.Support students preparing for examinations, interviews, presentations, academic assignments, or other learning objectives.Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, or education coordinators regarding progress and learning needs.Maintain accurate lesson records, progress reports, assessment results, and learning documentation.Use online teaching platforms, video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and educational technology effectively.Participate in curriculum development, teacher meetings, training, and professional-development activities.Continuously improve teaching methods and learning resources based on student outcomes and feedback.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in English, Education, Linguistics, Literature, or a related discipline is preferred.3+ years of professional experience in English teaching, tutoring, academic instruction, or a similar educational role is preferred.Excellent command of written and spoken English with strong grammar and communication skills.Strong understanding of English-language teaching methodologies and student-centered learning.Experience teaching learners with different ages, proficiency levels, and educational needs.Excellent presentation, communication, classroom-management, and interpersonal skills.Ability to create engaging lesson plans and customized learning materials.Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.Comfortable using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, learning-management systems, and other digital teaching platforms.Patient, encouraging, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, teaching license, or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not required.What We OfferFlexible part-time working hours with a fully remote work arrangement.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and teaching responsibilities.Opportunity to work with international students and diverse learning needs.Exposure to online education, academic development, curriculum design, and personalized instruction.Professional development opportunities and continuous teacher training.A supportive, student-focused environment where teaching quality, creativity, academic progress, and learner confidence are highly valued.
