• Deliver engaging and interactive English language sessions for learners across different proficiency levels
• Develop structured and learner-friendly lesson plans based on students’ learning goals
• Help learners improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, writing, listening, and overall communication skills
• Conduct practical communication activities, discussions, role-plays, and interactive exercises
• Support learners in developing professional English for workplace and academic environments
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive, personalised feedback
• Identify individual learning gaps and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
• Create or contribute to learning resources, worksheets, assignments, and practice activities
• Encourage learners to actively participate and build confidence in using English
• Conduct live online classes through the platform’s learning environment
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with the platform team to improve course delivery and learner engagementRequirements
• 5+ years of experience in English teaching, tutoring, training, or language education
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience delivering online or virtual learning sessions
• Ability to work with learners from diverse educational and professional backgrounds
• Strong understanding of English grammar, communication, and language development
• Ability to create engaging and practical learning activities
• Comfortable using digital learning platforms and online teaching tools
• Strong interpersonal skills and a learner-focused approach
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Patient, approachable, and supportive teaching style
• Ability to work with learners from diverse cultural, academic, and professional backgrounds
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage lesson preparation and learner activities effectively
• Ability to communicate complex language concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner
• Commitment to maintaining a professional, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• A relevant degree, English teaching qualification, TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent certification would be an advantage
• Experience with Australian learners, Australian English, or Australian workplace communication would be an advantage
