Enterprise Architect | Reef GroupPosition Title: Enterprise ArchitectLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaJob Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and visionary Enterprise Architect to define, govern, and evolve the organization's technology architecture to ensure alignment with business strategy. This role establishes enterprise-wide architecture standards, drives digital transformation initiatives, evaluates emerging technologies, and provides strategic guidance across applications, data, infrastructure, security, cloud, and integration domains.The Enterprise Architect will work closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value while enabling a scalable, secure, and future-ready technology landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise StrategyDevelop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture roadmap aligned with business strategy.Define the current-state, target-state, and transition architecture.Support executive leadership in technology investment decisions.Ensure technology initiatives support organizational goals.Architecture GovernanceEstablish and maintain architecture principles, standards, and policies.Lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) meetings.Govern major technology decisions across all programs.Review solution designs for compliance with enterprise standards.Business & Technology AlignmentCollaborate with business leaders to understand strategic objectives.Translate business capabilities into technology capabilities.Identify technology opportunities that improve efficiency, customer experience, and operational excellence.Technology ArchitectureProvide strategic oversight for:Application ArchitectureData ArchitectureIntegration ArchitectureCloud ArchitectureInfrastructure ArchitectureSecurity ArchitectureAI & Automation ArchitectureDigital TransformationDrive enterprise-wide modernization initiatives.Rationalize legacy applications.Promote cloud-first and API-first strategies.Introduce AI, automation, and emerging technologies where appropriate.Portfolio ManagementMaintain the enterprise application portfolio.Identify redundant systems and opportunities for consolidation.Evaluate build vs. buy decisions.Develop technology roadmaps for major platforms.Risk & ComplianceEnsure architectural compliance with security and regulatory requirements.Identify technology risks and mitigation strategies.Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.Stakeholder ManagementPresent architecture strategies to executive leadership.Mentor Solution Architects and technical leads.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across business and IT.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience12–15+ years of experience in Enterprise IT, preferably within the retail sector.Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or Architecture Leadership roles.Proven experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and modern enterprise technologies.Technical SkillsEnterprise Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF preferred)Business ArchitectureSolution ArchitectureCloud Architecture (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)Microservices ArchitectureAPI ManagementEvent-Driven ArchitectureEnterprise Integration PlatformsData ArchitectureEnterprise Integration PatternsSecurity ArchitectureDevSecOpsAI & Machine Learning ArchitectureTechnology GovernanceArchitecture Modeling Tools (ArchiMate, Sparx Enterprise Architect, LeanIX, or similar)Soft SkillsStrategic ThinkingExecutive CommunicationLeadership & MentoringStakeholder ManagementNegotiation & Influencing SkillsAnalytical Problem SolvingDecision MakingBusiness AcumenChange ManagementPreferred CertificationsTOGAF Certified.Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent cloud certification.PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.Why Join Us?Join a fast-growing organization where technology plays a critical role in driving business success.
