LP3 Enterprise Cyber Security Engineer Labor Category: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Springfield, VA Clearance: TS/SCI Experience: SeniorStart Date: 5 Oct (negotiable) Role Description · A challenging engineering position with intelligence information sharing, complex data types, and strong content filtering solutions· Seeking a key individual as the lead cyber engineer on a long-term program undergoing significant growth · A variety of daily work includes architecture reviews, updating system hardening, system security analysis, continuous monitoring, and maintaining complex cross-domain data system ATOs. Mandatory Requirements:· A strong do-it-right perspective on National Security to protect mission critical systems from Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and malicious insiders· Experience with both Windows and Linux system administration and security tasks· Ability to analyze system architectures for optimization, review complex log files, troubleshoot, and update system security posture over time in complex mission systems· Implementation and validation of security controls that support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503 Security Accreditation· Developing architecture documentation and Systems Security Plans (SSP) to support Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) reviews· STIG compliance and vulnerability management· POA&M development and implementation· Coordinating with customer security organizations to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) and to maintain Continuous ATO once achieved· Knowledge of the complex environment involving shared IC networks and multiple security enclaves at multiple classifications · Candidates should possess skills in Vulnerability Assessment, including scanning, analysis, prioritization, remediation planning, and reporting.· Strong technical analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience· Advanced security credentials in IAT Level III or IAM Level III (such as CISSP or CISA)· TS/SCI clearance - mandatory Preferred/Desired Skills:· Experience with cross-domain systems and technologies. · Experience with security tools and processes such as XACTA, Nessus Security Center, WebInspect· Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps)· Cloud security controls and implementation· PKI implementationThis position is best filled by a self-motivated individual desiring to move up into more challenging positions working enterprise scale systems in high security environments.
