Konfidi Health also provides imaging informatics support and managed IT services to hospitals, health systems, medical practices, imaging centers, radiology groups, and healthcare technology vendors.Guided by the principles of trust, innovation, and care, Konfidi Health helps clients improve clinical workflows, strengthen system performance, enhance operational efficiency, and support the delivery of high-quality patient care.Role DescriptionKonfidi Health is seeking an experienced Enterprise Imaging Consultant to advise healthcare organizations on the strategy, design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise imaging solutions.This role combines hands-on imaging informatics expertise with project management responsibilities and direct engagement with clinical, operational, technical, vendor, and executive stakeholders. The consultant will assess current imaging environments, gather and analyze requirements, develop practical recommendations, and help clients implement sustainable improvements across complex healthcare environments.The Enterprise Imaging Consultant will support new implementations, system migrations, consolidations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, and remediation efforts. The role will also participate in vendor selection engagements through the VendorMatch™ process and provide guidance throughout solution design, deployment, testing, go-live, stabilization, and post-implementation optimization.This is a full-time remote position. Infrequent travel will be required for client-site assessments, key project activities, go-live support, or company meetings.Key Responsibilities* Assess current enterprise imaging environments, clinical workflows, technical architecture, integrations, operational processes, and support models.* Gather and translate clinical, operational, business, and technical requirements into actionable strategies and solution designs.* Lead or support enterprise imaging implementations, migrations, upgrades, consolidations, integrations, optimizations, and remediation initiatives.* Manage assigned projects or workstreams, including scope, schedules, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, resources, and stakeholder communications.* Develop project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, readiness assessments, testing strategies, cutover plans, and stabilization plans.* Facilitate discovery sessions, workflow reviews, design meetings, technical discussions, and project governance activities.* Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, clinical leaders, imaging operations, IT teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.* Evaluate and improve PACS, VNA, enterprise viewers, diagnostic workstations, workflow orchestration, image exchange, reporting, and related imaging technologies.* Support vendor selection activities, including requirements development, proposal evaluation, demonstrations, scoring, financial analysis, and recommendations through the VendorMatch™ process.* Coordinate system integration and interoperability activities involving DICOM, HL7, FHIR, APIs, and related healthcare standards.* Create clear workflow documentation, technical requirements, solution recommendations, implementation documentation, and executive-level presentations.* Support system testing, validation, training, deployment, go-live, stabilization, and post-implementation optimization.* Identify project, technical, workflow, and operational risks early and develop appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.* Present complex technical and operational concepts clearly to clinical, technical, business, and executive audiences.* Contribute to Konfidi Health methodologies, consulting standards, best practices, templates, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant practical experience.* Professional experience with enterprise imaging, PACS, VNA, diagnostic viewing, image exchange, workflow orchestration, or related medical imaging informatics solutions.* Understanding of radiology, cardiology, or other clinical imaging workflows and the technologies supporting them.* Experience participating in or leading healthcare technology implementations, migrations, upgrades, integrations, consolidations, or optimization initiatives.* Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability and system integration, including DICOM and HL7. Experience with FHIR, APIs, or other modern interoperability methods is beneficial.* Demonstrated project coordination or project management experience, including planning, stakeholder communication, risk management, issue resolution, and deliverable tracking.* Strong analytical and consulting skills, including requirements gathering, workflow analysis, problem-solving, and solution design.* Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, presentation, and documentation skills.* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to clinical, technical, operational, and executive audiences.* Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, meet commitments, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams and clients.* Willingness and ability to travel infrequently based on client and project requirements.Preferred Qualifications* Experience with one or more of the following enterprise imaging platforms: * Intelerad * Visage * Sectra * Merge PACS* Experience with PACS, VNA, enterprise viewers, workflow orchestration platforms, dictation and reporting solutions, or image exchange technologies.* Experience supporting hospital, health system, imaging center, radiology group, cardiology, or healthcare technology vendor environments.* Experience across multiple imaging specialties or complex multi-site healthcare organizations.* Experience with enterprise imaging strategy, governance, cloud-based imaging environments, data migration, system consolidation, or operational transformation.* Previous consulting, professional services, or client-facing experience.* Experience developing executive recommendations, business cases, vendor evaluations, implementation roadmaps, or financial analyses.* Professional certifications such as CIIP, PMP, CPHIMS, or other relevant healthcare IT, imaging informatics, or project management credentials.What We ValueAt Konfidi Health, we value integrity, accountability, sound judgment, collaboration, and practical problem-solving.
