Enterprise Resources Planning Business Analyst

Role OverviewThe Epicor ERP Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation, enhancement and optimisation of the Epicor ERP/Kinetic platform across the organisation. The role acts as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, documented and translated into effective ERP solutions.The successful candidate will possess strong business process knowledge, ERP implementation experience and the ability to support operational transformation across manufacturing, distribution or supply chain environments.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements GatheringConduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather business requirementsAnalyse existing business processes and identify areas for improvementProduce functional specifications, process maps and business requirement documentsTranslate operational requirements into ERP system solutionsSupport gap analysis between current and future state processesERP Implementation & SupportSupport Epicor ERP/Kinetic implementation and enhancement projectsAssist with system configuration and module optimisationCoordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activitiesSupport data migration, validation and cleansing exercisesWork with third-party vendors, consultants and development teamsAssist with issue resolution and system troubleshootingStakeholder ManagementEngage with department managers and end users across the businessProvide regular updates to project stakeholdersFacilitate workshops, training sessions and process reviewsPromote user adoption and change management initiativesDocumentation & ReportingMaintain project documentation and functional design specificationsCreate user guides and training materialsDevelop reports, dashboards and KPI tracking requirementsEnsure process and system documentation remains up to dateKey Skills & ExperienceEssentialProven experience as an ERP Business AnalystStrong experience with Epicor ERP or Epicor KineticExperience within manufacturing, engineering or distribution environmentsStrong business process mapping and requirements gathering skillsKnowledge of ERP modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and InventoryExperience supporting ERP implementation or transformation programmesStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience coordinating UAT and training activitiesDesirableSQL reporting knowledgeExperience with BA tools and methodologiesKnowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworksExperience with integrations, APIs or BI reporting toolsPrince2, Agile BA or related certificationsTechnical KnowledgeEpicor ERP / Epicor KineticERP workflows and business processesSQL and reporting toolsMicrosoft Office suiteBusiness process mapping toolsData migration and validation processes
