Job Profile SummaryThe Enterprise Solutions Principal is a senior consulting role at SoftServe. ESPs strive to become trusted advisors with clients and provide continuity into engagements by orchestrating enterprise product management, digital strategy, solutions consulting, or platforms architecture as the engagement requires.Enterprise Solutions Principals assume prominent leadership and client advocacy roles in all stages of enterprise client relationships, from pre-sales and discoveries, through delivery, and into long-term client management. They are multifaceted, focusing on topics as diverse as business strategy, technology, design, and business process.Enterprise Solutions Principals develop and deliver thought leadership content and digital strategy vision to support SoftServe’s market differentiation and innovation practices. The thought leadership work of SoftServe’s Enterprise Solutions Principals will influence global market technology trends and help our clients establish clear market leadership positions.Enterprise Solutions Principals are recognized leaders and influencers in our energy at SoftServe. ESPs also possess subject matter expertise and certifications in multiple enterprise-related platforms and technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Fiserv, Epic, ServiceNow, Workday, etc. and hold industry certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, COBIT, PMI, Pragmatic, CBAP, Six Sigma, etc.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate within Centers of Excellence, delivery teams, and global innovation networks to define and execute digital strategies for the Energy & Utilities industry.Generate and promote innovative, tech-driven ideas that accelerate operational efficiency, decarbonization, and resilience across the E&U ecosystem.Advise clients on how to harness emerging technologies — from AI and IoT to digital twins and advanced analytics — to meet evolving business, regulatory, and sustainability needs.Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic opportunities in areas like smart grids, renewable energy management, predictive maintenance, and data monetization.Become a trusted advisor and strategic partner for leading energy organizations seeking to future-proof their operations through digital transformation.Work closely with business, engineering, and IT experts to build integrated, industry-focused digital solutions and lead their end-to-end design and implementation.Manage project scope, risk, priorities, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring value-driven outcomes throughout the engagement lifecycle.Balance competing solution opportunities, aligning technical feasibility, business value, and sustainability impact in collaboration with domain and technology specialists.Translate business objectives into actionable development goals: assess the current (“as-is”) landscape, define the future (“to-be”) state, identify gaps, and propose impactful improvements.Deliver tangible, measurable value throughout the digital transformation journey — from ideation to implementation and continuous improvement.Required Skills An experienced digital transformation expert with 7+ years of proven experience in driving innovation and operational excellence across the Energy & Utilities (E&U) sector — from generation and transmission to distribution, renewables, and energy trading.Deeply knowledgeable about energy value chains, utility operations, grid modernization, and asset management, with a solid grasp of how enterprise systems and data flows connect across technical and business layers.Skilled in implementing advanced technologies — including Generative AI, Computer Vision, Data Science, MLOps, NVIDIA, AWS, and other AI-driven or high-performance computing solutions — to optimize operations, enable predictive maintenance, enhance demand forecasting, and support sustainability goals.Experienced in collaborating with OEMs, energy suppliers, grid operators, and technology partners, ensuring seamless integration of digital solutions across complex ecosystems.Familiar with industry trends such as energy transition, smart grids, decarbonization, digital twins, and IoT-enabled asset monitoring, and capable of translating them into actionable business and technology roadmaps.Exceptional at facilitating workshops and co-creation sessions with business stakeholders to identify value opportunities, design target-state solutions, and align technology with strategic business objectives.A strong communicator and storyteller, able to present complex digital concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Analytical, proactive, and business-oriented — with experience in Go-to-Market strategy development, presales, and innovation management within the E&U context.Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and working directly with C-level executives to drive digital adoption and transformation.Proficient in agile delivery, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and digital product management — understanding how to integrate new digital platforms and solutions within existing technology landscapes.Knowledgeable about legacy modernization, end-to-end value chain connectivity, and change management practices tailored for the E&U sector.Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.QualificationsEducationUndergraduate degree in technical discipline such as Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Math, or Data Science, or mix of 5 additional years of relevant work experience and industry certifications; MBA, MFA, or Master’s degree in a business discipline is highly preferred.CertificationsRelevant industry certifications in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Project Management, such as Pragmatic, COBIT, CBAP, PMI, etc.Relevant enterprise solution and platform certifications such as SAP, Salesforce, public cloud architecture certifications, etc.Enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF or Zachman.Experience implementing and working in Agile methodologies, certifications desirable.Other RequirementsAbility to travel 30%+This posting includes an anticipated salary range that SoftServe expects to offer for this position. The range provided reflects the base salary only. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, budget, and market conditions.The anticipated salary range for this role is $180,000.00 – $230,000.00 annually, in line with our internal compensation framework and budget allocation for the role. Most candidates are offered a salary within this disclosed range.
