- Wired/WAN Dependencies & Security IntegrationPOSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a Wi-Fi Design Architect with 12+ years of experience to lead the global enterprise wireless architecture and engineering strategy for the client. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Network Engineering and solve critical challenges related to technical debt, regional inconsistencies, and wireless estate optimization. You will define the target-state wireless architecture, complete a comprehensive standards assessment, and drive team skills uplift to establish sustainable network governance.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define target-state wireless architecture covering RF design principles, WLAN topology, cloud/controller management models, and security integration on a daily basis.
- Conduct deep-dive assessments of current-state network architecture to identify technical debt, security risks, gaps, and regional variations.
- Recommend strategic technology directions, including Wi-Fi 6E/7 adoption, vendor and platform lifecycle refreshes, and IoT/guest segmentation.
- Author robust architecture documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), reference architectures, decision records, and Phase 2 standards assessment deliverables.
