Joining the team offers the chance to help shape both the product vision and the company’s trajectory from an early stage.Role Description The Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) at CLEAR By Infrolab is a full-time, remote role focused on identifying, testing, and launching new product and business opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching markets and customer needs, generating and evaluating hypotheses, and designing experiments to validate concepts. The EiR will create and refine business models, collaborate with product and engineering teams to define MVPs, and oversee pilot initiatives from ideation through initial traction. This role also involves building pitch materials, contributing to fundraising or partnership discussions, and establishing simple metrics dashboards to track performance. The EiR is expected to take ownership of initiatives, operate autonomously, and provide clear, data-backed recommendations on which ideas to scale, pivot, or discontinue.Qualifications Proven experience in entrepreneurship, startup building, or innovation roles, with a track record of taking ideas from concept to launch.Strong skills in market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to identify viable opportunities and validate assumptions.Ability to develop business models, go-to-market strategies, and financial projections, including basic unit economics and ROI analysis.Comfort working with product and engineering teams to define MVPs, prioritize features, and iterate based on user feedback and data.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to craft clear narratives, pitch ideas to stakeholders, and document experiments and learnings.Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams, with strong self-management, organization, and decision-making capabilities.Familiarity with agile methodologies, lean startup principles, and experimentation frameworks (e.g., hypothesis-driven development, A/B testing).Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or prior founder experience are a plus.High level of curiosity, resilience, and comfort with ambiguity, along with a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and user-centered innovation.
