Entry Specialist - Freight Forwarding Valley Stream, NY | In-Person | $24 - $29 /hr | Full-TimeA well established global logistics and freight forwarding company  with a multi decade track record and offices across the US and overseas is hiring a Customs Entry Specialist to join their growing import/export team.What You'll Do:Clear goods through customs and coordinate delivery to final destinationWork directly with carriers, freight forwarders, CFS warehouses, truckers, and customers to keep freight moving on timeTrack, trace, and proactively update customers on shipment statusVerify customs clearance and freight release for shipment availabilityClassify goods using the tariff coding system and calculate duty/tariff paymentsPrepare import/export documentation in line with customs regulationsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, forwarders, and clientsWhat You Bring:1+ year of experience in freight forwarding or customs clearance preferred (candidates with coursework in International Business, Supply Chain, or Transportation/Logistics also encouraged to apply)Fluent English required (read/write/speak)Bilingual in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese is a big plusWhat's In It For You:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance401(k) with company matchVacation Days, Personal DaysAnnual Bonus, and Performance BonusThis role is moving fast and will be filled quickly.
