Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Job Title: HSE Safety ManagerExperience Required: 8–10 Years (Gulf Experience Mandatory)Location: Dubai Industry: Construction / MEP Job Description:The HSE Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with local authority regulations, project specifications, and international safety standards.

The role ensures a safe working environment across all project sites. Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety ManagementDevelop, implement, and maintain the Project HSE Plan in compliance with local authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, DCD, Dubai Municipality, etc.).Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and relevant statutory regulations.Conduct risk assessments, and method statement reviews for all site activities.Monitor site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training programs for staff and subcontractors.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to integrate HSE into daily operations. Site Safety & ComplianceCarry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks, ensuring corrective actions are closed promptly.Ensure proper implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, including hot works, confined space, working at height, and electrical works.Ensure availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare incident investigation reports and implement preventive measures.Maintain site HSE records, statistics, and KPI reports (TRIR, LTIFR, etc.). Environmental ManagementMonitor environmental aspects such as waste management, noise control, spill prevention, and environmental protection.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project environmental management plans.Conduct environmental risk assessments and audits. Qualifications & CertificationsBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Safety, or related field.NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory).
