In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee all environmental management initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sustainability programs across our operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical environmental expertise with decisive leadership capabilities to champion our commitment to environmental responsibility and operational excellence.Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive environmental management systems and policies aligned with ISO 14001 standards and local Saudi Arabian regulationsLead and mentor a team of environmental professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and environmental stewardshipConduct environmental impact assessments and audits to identify risks, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvementAnalyze environmental data and prepare detailed reports for senior management and regulatory authoritiesDesign and execute sustainability programs focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency, water conservation, and carbon footprint managementEnsure organizational compliance with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and industry standardsManage environmental budgets and allocate resources effectively to support program objectivesDevelop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and external environmental consultantsIdentify emerging environmental trends and best practices, recommending strategic initiatives to enhance organizational performanceCoordinate environmental training and awareness programs for employees across all levelsLead cross-functional projects to integrate environmental considerations into business operations and decision-making processesQualificationsMinimum 15 years of professional experience in environmental management, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership or management capacityDemonstrated expertise in environmental compliance, regulatory requirements, and environmental management systems (ISO 14001)Strong knowledge of environmental impact assessment methodologies and environmental audit proceduresProven experience developing and implementing sustainability programs and corporate environmental responsibility initiativesAdvanced analytical skills with proficiency in environmental data analysis and reporting toolsExcellent project management capabilities with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong team leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staffStrategic planning and visionary thinking to drive long-term environmental objectivesExceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with diverse stakeholdersExperience with environmental risk assessment and mitigation strategiesFamiliarity with carbon footprint management, waste management, and water resource managementBudget management and financial planning experienceKnowledge of Saudi Arabian environmental regulations and regional sustainability frameworks is highly desirableProficiency in environmental management software and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
