Environmental Health Safety Specialist

About the Company2SAFE Consulting, Inc. is looking to hire an EHS safety professional with at least 2-3 years of experience. A Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, fire safety, engineering, or another applicable discipline required.About the RoleStrong knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards, HAZWOPER Certification, OSHA 30 or any other safety training are preferred.ResponsibilitiesConduct safety training on topics such as Fall Protection, LO/TO, HAZWOPER Forklift Safety, etc.Prepare written reports and policies, gap analyses, and root cause analyses.Develop and assist with the implementation of safety programs for clients across various industries.Independently conduct site audits and inspections.Communicate and collaborate with clients regarding safety and compliance needs.Interact with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, natural sciences, fire safety, engineering, or another applicable discipline required.Required SkillsGood organizational, written, and verbal skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and EHS/safety management software.Ability to wear and work in Level C personal protective equipment.Valid Drivers License.Reliable access to a personal vehicle.Ability to travel throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, the New York City boroughs, and the Tri-State area.Preferred SkillsStrong knowledge of OSHA and EPA standardsHAZWOPER CertificationOSHA 30 or any other safety trainingPay range and compensation packageAnnual Salary: $70,000 -80,000Medical, Dental and Vision401(k) contribution and employer matchingProfessional development opportunitiesThree (3) weeks of PTOEqual Opportunity Statement2SAFE Consulting, Inc. is committed to diversity and inclusivity.
