Environmental Specialist

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management within construction or infrastructure projects.Previous experience in Ashghal projects in Qatar is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in accordance with Ashghal specifications and Qatar environmental regulations.Conduct environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements.Monitor dust, noise, wastewater, waste disposal, and pollution control measures.Ensure proper handling and disposal of construction and hazardous waste.Prepare environmental monitoring reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.Identify environmental risks and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and client representatives on environmental matters.Conduct environmental awareness training for site personnel and subcontractors.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of Qatar environmental regulations and ISO 14001.Experience in environmental monitoring, reporting, and construction site inspections.Good communication and documentation skills.
