The Opportunity:Our client is a leading Saudi engineering and construction group with a strong track record delivering complex infrastructure, industrial, energy, water and environmental projects across the Kingdom & we are seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to take full end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of a major ~SAR 700 million water infrastructure project in Ras Tanura, Eastern Province.The project comprises the development of a new water treatment facility together with upgrades and modifications to existing tanks and pipeline infrastructure within an established industrial environment.This is a Project Manager-level appointment, and candidates must have a proven track record of personally leading major EPC projects from mobilisation through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover.Key Requirement:Candidates should have recent experience in a Project Manager or equivalent project leadership role, and must have extensive experience of working on Aramco projects (ideally possess Aramco Approved certification) with clear overall accountability for:Project execution and delivery from start to finishEngineering, procurement, construction and commissioningOverall project budget and cost controlProgramme, schedule and critical pathContracts, commercial management, variations and claimsProject risk and mitigationMultidisciplinary project teamsSubcontractors and suppliersClient management and senior stakeholder relationshipsPre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and final handoverCandidates whose recent experience is primarily Construction Manager / Construction Manager-level, without clear overall Project Manager responsibility for the complete EPC project, are unlikely to be suitable.

Key Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility and accountability for the successful delivery of the EPC project from mobilisation through to completion and handover.Lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.Establish and manage the overall project execution strategy, programme, budget and resources.Maintain overall responsibility for project cost, schedule, quality, HSE, risk and commercial performance.Manage engineering and procurement activities, including critical-path and long-lead equipment and materials.Lead multidisciplinary construction execution across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, process, E&I and associated infrastructure.Manage Greenfield and Brownfield interfaces within existing operating facilities.Plan and manage tie-ins, shutdowns, isolations and SIMOPS activities.Manage subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other project stakeholders.Lead commercial management, including variations, claims, contractual issues and cost recovery.Act as the senior project interface with the client and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, specifications, HSE requirements and project procedures.Oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, testing and final project handover.Candidate Requirements15+ years' experience in major EPC project delivery.Proven experience as a Project Manager with full end-to-end project responsibility.Recent Project Manager experience, preferably within the last five years, on major projects.Demonstrable responsibility for the complete EPC lifecycle, rather than construction delivery alone.Experience managing projects valued at SAR 500 million+.Previous experience delivering projects for Saudi Aramco is mandatory.Background in water treatment, industrial water, wastewater, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery or related industrial infrastructure.Experience with Greenfield and Brownfield projects within operating facilities.Demonstrable experience with tanks, pipelines/piping, water treatment/process infrastructure and multidisciplinary works.Experience managing tie-ins, shutdowns, isolations and SIMOPS within live operating facilities.Strong understanding of project controls, contracts, commercial management, risk and programme management.Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and manage senior client stakeholders.Direct knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards, processes and HSE requirements is essential.Candidates must be currently based in Saudi Arabia to be considered.
