Job Offer: Equestrian Trainer - Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaPosition: Equestrian Trainer Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Employment Type: Full-time Start Date: To be agreed Contract Duration: 1-2 years, renewable by mutual agreement Reports To: Stable Manager / Owner / Equestrian Program DirectorAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and professional Equestrian Trainer to join our equestrian facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The trainer will be responsible for training horses, coaching riders, supporting stable operations, and maintaining high standards of horse welfare, safety, and performance.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in horse training, rider instruction, stable management, and competition preparation. This role is suitable for a disciplined, patient, and knowledgeable trainer who can work with horses and riders of different levels.Key ResponsibilitiesTrain horses according to their level, discipline, temperament, and development needs.Provide riding lessons and coaching for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders.Prepare horses and riders for competitions, shows, endurance rides, or private training goals.Develop individual training programs for horses and riders.Monitor horse fitness, behavior, performance, and general wellbeing.Assist with horse exercising, lunging, groundwork, schooling, and conditioning.Identify training issues, behavioral problems, or health concerns and report them promptly.Work closely with veterinarians, farriers, grooms, and stable staff.Ensure horses are handled safely and humanely at all times.Maintain clean, safe, and professional training areas, arenas, tack rooms, and equipment.Advise on suitable tack, feed, turnout, exercise schedules, and care routines.Support the selection, evaluation, and purchase of horses when required.Maintain records of horse progress, rider progress, health observations, and training schedules.Follow all facility rules, safety procedures, and animal welfare standards.Represent the stable professionally with clients, guests, riders, and visitors.Required Qualifications and ExperienceRequirementDetailsExperienceMinimum 5 years of professional equestrian training experience preferredRiding LevelStrong riding ability with proven horse-training skillsCoachingExperience teaching riders of different ages and levelsHorse CareGood knowledge of horse health, behavior, nutrition, and stable routinesDisciplinesExperience in show jumping, dressage, endurance, flatwork, or general horsemanshipLanguageEnglish required; Arabic is an advantageCertificationEquestrian coaching or training certification is preferredLocationWillingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaSkills and Personal QualitiesStrong communication and teaching skills.Calm, patient, and confident around horses.Professional attitude and good discipline.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good problem-solving skills.Physically fit and able to work outdoors in different weather conditions.Respectful of Saudi culture, local customs, and workplace policies.Reliable, organized, and safety-focused.Employment PackageThe employment package may include:BenefitDetailsSalaryCompetitive monthly salary, based on experience and qualificationsAccommodationProvided or housing allowanceTransportationProvided or transportation allowanceVisaWork visa sponsorship providedFlightsAnnual return flight ticket, subject to contract termsMedical InsuranceProvided according to Saudi labor regulationsVacationPaid annual leave according to Saudi labor lawContractRenewable contract based on performance and mutual agreementWorking ConditionsThe Equestrian Trainer will be based at the employer's equestrian facility in Riyadh.
