Equipment Electrical Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:Manage production and testing of Synchronization Panels, ATS Panels, AVR Heater Panels, MDBs, DBs, Socket DBs and related electrical panelsConduct electrical testing, load testing and FAT activities and accurately record test parameters and resultsTroubleshoot electrical faults in diesel generators, control panels and associated systemsCarry out DSE control system programming, troubleshooting and configurationSupport 50Hz–60Hz conversions and complete electrical overhauling of diesel generator systemsSupervise control panel refurbishment, wiring harness rebuilding and electrical rectification worksIdentify rework requirements, record rework reasons and responsible stages, and support root-cause analysisMonitor and improve Load Test & FAT First-Attempt Pass Rate and Rework RateConduct synchronization and quality inspections and ensure inspections are completed without avoidable remarksPrepare electrical CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and technical documentationPerform electrical load calculations and provide technical recommendationsProvide technical support and guidance to technicians, sales and operations teamsConduct site visits for electrical troubleshooting, inspections and technical supportSupport vendor factory inspections, product quality inspections and technical purchasing requirementsMaintain accurate ERP records, testing data, inspection reports and technical documentationCoordinate with production, yard, service, stores, purchasing, sales and operations teamsEscalate critical electrical faults, quality issues and recurring problems to managementEnsure compliance with company testing procedures, quality standards and safety requirementsRequired Qualifications and Skills:B.Tech / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering3–5 years of relevant experience in diesel generators, electrical panels, industrial electrical systems or related fieldsStrong knowledge of electrical panel production, testing and overhaulingExperience with DSE control systems and programmingDSE PLC Programming Certification preferredKnowledge of load testing, FAT, synchronization and electrical fault diagnosticsExperience with generator control systems and electrical troubleshootingKnowledge of electrical CAD drawings and load calculationsExperience in generator overhauling, panel refurbishment and wiring worksWorking knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, problem-solving and technical documentation skillsAbility to support and guide technicians and coordinate with multiple departmentsUAE driving licence preferred, preferably manualLanguage SkillsGood written and spoken English.Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, customers, vendors and internal departments.Other Details:Driving Licence: Preferred – ManualWorking days and hours: As per company scheduleLocation & Mobility: UAE – Yard, Production and Site BasedAllowances / Benefits: As per company policy and UAE labour law.BY TALENTAC SOLUTIONS
