NTI Nanofilm operates across Singapore, China, Germany, Japan, India and Vietnam, and has been listed on the Singapore Exchange since 2020.Job PurposeThe Equipment Engineer is responsible for the full lifecycle management of production equipment – encompassing usage planning, preventive and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring, and upgrading – to maximize equipment reliability, availability and efficiency. This role partners closely with Production and Quality to safeguard manufacturing capacity, product quality and on-time delivery, while driving continuous improvement in equipment utilization, cost efficiency and operational safety.ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate machine/equipment usage and allocation to meet production, capacity and delivery requirements.Develop and execute preventive and corrective equipment maintenance plans to ensure machine reliability and minimize downtime.Monitor equipment performance and utilization, analyze data to identify efficiency gaps and drive improvement actions.Plan equipment upgrading, modification and replacement to support production capacity, quality and technology requirements.Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.Manage equipment installation, commissioning and qualification for new or upgraded machines.Establish and maintain equipment maintenance records, SOPs and spare parts inventory.Work with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets safety, quality and compliance standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives on equipment efficiency, cost and safety.RequirementsBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.3~5 years of manufacturing or equipment engineering experience is an advantage.Experience in vacuum coating, PVD, semiconductor, precision engineering, or surface treatment industries is preferred but not mandatory.Comfortable working on-site (Monday – Friday)Working Location11 Tai Seng Drive Singapore 535226
