Equipment EngineerLocation: Simpang Ampat, PenangIndustry: Manufacturing / EngineeringWe are looking for an experienced Equipment Engineer to manage, maintain and improve automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle installation, commissioning, operation and management of automated equipment.Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair and optimization.Manage preventive maintenance, spare parts and equipment reliability.Troubleshoot and work with PLC, servo motors, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.Use AutoCAD to read and create mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.Standardize equipment setup and prepare work instructions.Train production/maintenance staff on equipment operation and procedures.Drive continuous improvement projects to increase equipment productivity and reduce downtime and maintenance costs.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in factory equipment maintenance and management.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.Hands-on experience with PLC and servo motor control.Good knowledge of pneumatic systems and equipment troubleshooting.Able to read and create CAD drawings and electrical/wiring diagrams.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Willing to work in a manufacturing/factory environment.
