With a diverse workforce of over 2,000 team members and regional headquarters in the UAE, Brazil, Spain, and Australia, Arctech offers strong international career development opportunities.Role Description This full-time, on-site Equipment Maintenance Technician role is based at Arctech’s manufacturing facilities in Jeddah. The technician will perform routine and corrective maintenance on production and support equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Day-to-day tasks include installing and commissioning new equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and executing preventive maintenance plans according to company standards. The role also involves monitoring equipment performance, documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. The technician is expected to follow all safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality guidelines while working collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Qualifications Strong equipment maintenance skills, including routine servicing and corrective repairs on industrial machinery.Experience with equipment installation and commissioning in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions.Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and the ability to implement scheduled maintenance programs.Solid understanding of electricity, basic electrical circuits, and safe work practices around electrical systems.Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with maintenance documentation, use of CMMS or similar systems, and reading technical drawings and manuals.Awareness of occupational health and safety standards and commitment to safe work procedures.Ability to work on-site in Jeddah, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support shift or weekend work as needed.Prior experience in solar, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments is an advantage.
