Equipment Manager

Role Description The Equipment Manager is a part-time role responsible for overseeing the availability, functionality, and safety of medical equipment across the clinic’s departments. This hybrid position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site duties and some work-from-home flexibility for administrative and planning tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking equipment inventory, coordinating maintenance and repairs, scheduling inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards. The Equipment Manager will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to forecast equipment needs, support procurement activities, and maintain accurate equipment documentation and records. This role also involves monitoring equipment performance, addressing issues promptly, and recommending improvements to optimize operational efficiency.QualificationsDemonstrated skills in equipment inventory management, asset tracking, and documentation of maintenance records.Experience coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, including scheduling inspections and liaising with service providers.Knowledge of medical equipment safety standards, basic troubleshooting, and quality assurance procedures in healthcare settings.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clinical, technical, and administrative teams.Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, and equipment management software) and comfort working in a hybrid environment.Prior experience in a hospital or clinic equipment role or biomedical/clinical engineering support is an asset.Relevant diploma or degree in biomedical engineering, healthcare technology management, or a related field preferred.
