Equity Analyst

A well-established institutional asset manager is seeking an Equity Research Analyst to join its U.S. Equity team in New York. Working closely with a senior analyst, this individual will cover the Technology sector and support fundamental equity research, investment recommendations, and portfolio management decisions.Key responsibilities include conducting bottom-up company and industry research, building and maintaining detailed financial models, analyzing earnings and company disclosures, performing valuation work, developing investment theses, and identifying new investment opportunities. The analyst will also contribute to internal research publications, collaborate with portfolio managers and fellow analysts, and support ESG-related research initiatives.The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of relevant experience in equity research, investment management, or a related analytical role, with a strong understanding of U.S. public equities and fundamental investing. Prior experience covering the Technology sector or conducting research on technology companies is strongly preferred. Candidates should possess strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to generate independent investment insights. Based on experience and performance, the role offers the opportunity to assume primary coverage responsibility for select companies and subsectors within the Technology sector.
