Equity Research Analyst - China Healthcare

Responsibilities

Support the Head of China Healthcare Research in covering stocks across multiple healthcare sub-sectors, with a primary focus on innovative biotech and pharma companiesProduce high-quality equity research reports independently, including sector reports, thematic research, earnings reviews and company initiation reports.Conduct in-depth fundamental research on healthcare companies and industry trends, including scientific literature reviews, drug and pipeline analysis, clinical data assessment, competitive benchmarking and evaluation of key industry developments and market eventsMonitor and analyze company-specific, sector wide, and macro trends affecting the China healthcare industry, while maintaining a good understanding of the global drug R&D landscapeBuild, maintain and enhance detailed financial models and valuation frameworks to support timely and rigorous investment analysisCollaborate closely with team members to deliver high-quality research products and deliverablesRespond promptly to client inquiries and internal corporate requests under the guidance of the Head of China Healthcare ResearchSupport research-related activities, including management NDR meetings, expert calls, investor meetings, conferences and tours

Requirements

Bachelor/Master degree in a healthcare-related discipline (pharmacology/medicine/biology, etc.) is a must-have3 to 6 years of relevant research experience in China healthcare sector, either from sell-side or buy-sideStrong English-writing skills with fluent verbal communication in Mandarin/English is a must-havePassionate about healthcare equity research, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented and a strong team playerCandidates currently residing outside of Hong Kong will be consideredInterested candidate please email your CV to resumes@wit-ts.com or call (852) 2910-7015 for more details.
