Team members work closely with founders, gaining exposure to diverse sectors, geographies, and business models.Role Description The Equity Research Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The analyst will conduct in-depth research on companies, sectors, and markets across the Middle East, South Asia, and other emerging regions. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, analyzing company fundamentals, preparing investment memos, and supporting due diligence processes. The role also involves monitoring portfolio performance, tracking relevant news and data, and presenting insights to the investment team. The analyst will collaborate with team members and founders to refine investment theses and identify new opportunities.Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to evaluate companies, sectors, and market trends.Proficiency in Financial Modeling and Finance to build, interpret, and stress-test valuation and forecasting models.Knowledge of Investments and capital markets to assess risk/return profiles and support investment decisions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft clear reports, memos, and presentations.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are an advantage.High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.Comfort working with data tools (e.g., Excel, financial databases) and an interest in emerging markets and early-stage companies.Ability to work collaboratively in a small, entrepreneurial team environment and maintain professional integrity and discretion.
