KGI Securities Investment Advisory is a leading financial consultant who works with our clients to develop tailored investment strategies to help them reach their goals and grow their wealth.As an Equity Research Analyst in the semiconductor team, you will cover U.S. semiconductor companies (primarily SOX component stocks).#Job Description:Analyze strategically the investment opportunities in the U.S. Semi sector.Create and update industry/company models and reports, driving fundamental valuation signals based on appropriate valuation methodology.Work constantly with our internal and external clients and other analysts, to translate research insights into investment reports and decisions.Work under pressure and flexibility to adjust working hours for U.S. earnings season due to time difference.Work closely with the team to carry out various client service activities, including sector reports, attend client meetings, including but not limited to preparing presentation materials for clients.#Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills:Minimum 5 years of financial experience, from sell-side or buy-side equities, covering relevant sectors.Strong analytical skills, ability to measure investment judgment, decision-making, intellectual curiosity, intellectual honesty, teamwork, pro-active communication.Highly motivated individuals who are willing to work hard to build up their knowledge base and credibility within the team.Strong written and oral communication skills.A good handle on accounting, including reviewing and interpreting annual reports and financial statements#Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills:Proficiency with Bloomberg and ExcelCommerce and Science degree with some understanding about semiconductor are preferred
