The incumbent will establish a consistent risk and control environment across businesses and geographies, improve risk visibility, and support organisation’s growth agenda through practical governance and risk mitigation.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement and continuously enhance organisation’s Enterprise Risk Management framework in alignment with the Group’s strategic priorities and growth plans. Lead periodic enterprise-wide risk assessments covering strategic, financial, operational, regulatory, technology, cyber, reputational and compliance risks. Develop and maintain the Group Risk Register, including risk ownership, impact and likelihood assessment, mitigation plans, timelines and escalation protocols. Define and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), emerging risks and early-warning indicators, and provide clear risk reporting to the Group CFO and senior leadership. Own and strengthen the Group’s internal controls framework, ensuring key financial and operational controls are appropriately designed, documented and operating effectively. Establish and maintain Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs) across critical processes including revenue, billing, collections, payroll, procurement, treasury, expenses and financial reporting. Conduct control testing and thematic reviews to identify control gaps, financial leakage, process weaknesses and governance risks; drive root-cause remediation with accountable owners. Coordinate risk-based internal audit activities and track closure of audit observations, escalating significant or overdue matters to the Group CFO. Education Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)Experience 11–14 years of relevant experience across Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Controls and/or Internal Audit. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing ERM frameworks, risk registers, internal control frameworks and RCMs. Experience presenting risk and control matters to CFOs, CXOs, Audit/Risk Committees and/or Boards is preferred.
