Role: ERP Business Analyst | Tier-1 ERP Implementation | £100m+ TransformationLocation: England, UK / RemotePackage: Market-led Permanent Salary + BonusRole:Career-defining Business Analyst opportunity to join a global retail organisation embarking on a significant Tier-1 SaaS ERP implementation that will fundamentally transform how the business operates. This is a multi-year, business-critical programme and arguably the largest transformation in the organisation's history.ERP implementation, multi-site, 10,000+ end-users, global. Best suited to someone from Retail, Logistics, Supply Chain, Wholesale, Distribution or another product-based organisation with stores and/or distribution centres. (Not suited to Financial Services or Public Sector backgrounds.)This isn't just another Business Analyst role. You'll be at the heart of the programme, partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams and implementation partners to understand how the organisation operates today and help shape how it will operate tomorrow. You'll play a leading role in ensuring the ERP solution delivers genuine business value across the organisation.The OpportunityYou'll work across the full programme lifecycle, engaging stakeholders, facilitating workshops, capturing requirements and helping design future-state business processes that underpin a modern, enterprise-wide ERP platform.Working across both business and technology functions, you'll become a trusted advisor who can challenge existing processes, facilitate informed decisions and ensure the programme delivers measurable operational improvements.What You'll Be DoingPartnering with stakeholders across the business to understand operational challenges, strategic priorities and future business requirements.Running workshops, interviews and process discovery sessions to capture current and future-state business processes.Analysing complex operational processes across Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Procurement, Inventory, Finance and Retail operations.Translating business requirements into clear user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.Challenging existing ways of working, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve business processes.Collaborating with Business Leadership, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Developers and third-party implementation partners throughout the programme lifecycle.Supporting solution design, ensuring ERP capabilities align with business objectives and operational requirements.Managing requirements through change, maintaining traceability from discovery through to implementation.Supporting testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business readiness and successful business adoption.Identifying risks, assumptions, dependencies and impacts across workstreams while proactively managing stakeholder expectations.We're keen to speak with experienced Business Analysts who have played a significant role in delivering large-scale ERP implementations or complex business transformation programmes.You'll ideally have experience with:Enterprise ERP implementations or major business transformation programmes.Retail, Wholesale, Logistics, Distribution, Manufacturing or Supply Chain environments.End-to-end operational processes including Purchasing, Inventory, Warehousing, Order Management and Fulfilment.Requirements elicitation, process mapping, user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.Facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders across both business and technology functions.Building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance business priorities with technical delivery.Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
