They are consolidating onto Microsoft Dynamics Business Central across multiple countries and need a senior leader to take ownership of the program and drive it forward, with exec-level backing, budget, and real autonomy.This is a leadership role that requires genuine Business Central expertise, along with the ability to set direction and lead transformation. You will be the person the exec team turns to, the CFO especially, to understand what is achievable and how best to get there. We need someone both senior enough to lead and expert enough to be trusted on key decisions.What you'll be doingSetting the strategy and roadmap for the global Business Central estate, deciding where it consolidates, what gets prioritized, and how it comes together into one coherent platform.Acting as the trusted advisor to the executive team on Business Central, its real capabilities and limits, so the business makes decisions grounded in what the platform can actually deliver.Bringing clear ownership, energy, and momentum to the program, and turning direction into steady, visible progress.Owning the investment case and the prioritization, weighing projects and enhancements by business value, cost, and risk. Giving leadership a clear view of where the money goes and what it returns.Building and leading the team around you, and directing external partners, holding them to their delivery, quality, and commercial commitments.Driving genuine standardization of process and data across the business, making the common way the default and minimizing local variance unless regulation or commercial need demands it.What we're looking forSenior ERP leadership expertise. Owning the investment case, setting priorities, and managing external partners.A track record of leading Business Central implementations, including at least one global, multi-country rollout.Experience of building and leading an ERP team, knowing what to keep in-house and where to bring in specialist expertise.The ability to operate with confidence at the executive table and to translate Business Central’s technical capabilities into clear business and financial terms for senior stakeholders.Broad Business Central expertise across the core modules, with particular depth in finance, enough to act as a trusted partner to the CFO and finance team.The experience to judge technical and functional choices, weighing native Business Central capabilities against third-party add-ons and global consistency against local needs.Nice to haveExperience in pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing.MB-800, or equivalent demonstrable Business Central knowledge.The role is remote-first and open to candidates across the US. There will be some travel to the client's US and international sites. The working pattern requires good overlap with the US and European business day. You will need to be authorized to work in the US.The package includes $175,000 to $185,000 base, a performance-related bonus, and a competitive benefits package including medical, 401(k), and paid time off.
