ERPNext Developer

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, and implement ERPNext solutions based on business requirements.Work extensively with the Frappe Framework for application development and customization.Create and customize DocTypes, fields, print formats, and workflows.Develop and maintain Client Scripts and Server Scripts.Configure and manage roles and permissions.Develop backend solutions using Python and Frappe ORM.Design and develop REST APIs and third-party integrations.Work with background jobs and schedulers.Customize ERPNext's frontend using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Perform Desk customization as required.Work with MySQL/MariaDB, including query optimization.Handle data migration and patching activities.Understand and support ERPNext business processes across functional modules.Functional ERP KnowledgeThe candidate should have a strong understanding of ERP business flows, including:Accounting: General Ledger, P&L, Balance SheetSales & Purchase CycleInventory ManagementCRMHR & PayrollManufacturingA strong understanding of business processes is essential for successful ERP implementation and customization.Deployment & Infrastructure – Good to HaveLinux server managementFrappe Bench commandsDocker setupNginx configurationSSL setup and configurationPerformance tuningMulti-tenant ERPNext setupRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience with ERPNext & Frappe FrameworkStrong proficiency in PythonGood understanding of Frappe ORMExperience with REST API development and integrationsWorking knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSSExperience with MySQL/MariaDBUnderstanding of ERP business processes and workflowsStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsSoft SkillsExcellent client communication skillsAbility to explain technical concepts in simple, business-friendly languageStrong documentation skillsProblem-solving mindsetHigh sense of ownership and accountability
