Team members collaborate closely with clients to tailor solutions to specific operational needs, creating real impact across diverse industries.Role Description As an ERPNext Developer at Datwa Labs, you will work on designing, customizing, and maintaining ERPNext modules to support business processes and client requirements. You will configure workflows, develop custom scripts, build reports and dashboards, and integrate ERPNext with other systems to ensure smooth data flow. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, optimizing performance, and supporting deployments and updates. You will also contribute to documentation and provide user training or technical guidance where needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar.Qualifications Strong experience with ERPNext development, including customization of DocTypes, scripts, and reports.Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with practical knowledge of server-side and client-side development.Familiarity with databases (e.g., MariaDB/MySQL), REST APIs, and system integrations.Understanding of core business domains such as accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, or HR within ERP systems.Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Comfort working in a collaborative team environment and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with version control (e.g., Git), Linux-based environments, and deployment best practices is beneficial.Prior experience with open-source ERP platforms or contributing to ERPNext community projects is a plus.
