ERPNext Developer

Overview:As an ERPNext/Frappe Developer, you will be responsible for developing and customizing ERPNext applications based on client business requirements.You will work across the complete implementation lifecycle — from requirement understanding and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys solving business problems through technology and can convert functional requirements into reliable ERP solutions.Key Responsibilities:ERPNext / Frappe Development: Develop and customize ERPNext applications using the Frappe Framework.Develop custom business logic using Python and Frappe APIs.Build client-side customizations using JavaScript.Create custom scripts, server scripts, scheduled jobs, and automation.Customize existing ERPNext modules based on client requirements.Develop reusable custom applications/modules on the Frappe Framework.Client Implementation: Understand business requirements from functional consultants and clients.Translate business requirements into technical solutions.Participate in ERPNext implementation projects.Configure and customize ERPNext according to business processes.Support data migration and data validation activities.Participate in UAT, bug fixing, deployment, and go-live activities.Provide post-implementation technical support.Integrations: Develop integrations between ERPNext and external systems.Work with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and third-party APIs.Integrate ERPNext with applications.Database & ReportingWork with MariaDB/MySQL databases.Write and optimize SQL queries.Develop custom ERPNext reports and Query Reports.Build business dashboards and reporting solutions.Troubleshoot database and application performance issues.Deployment & SupportDeploy and maintain ERPNext/Frappe applications in development, staging, and production environments.Troubleshoot application, server, and deployment issues.Work with Linux/Ubuntu environments.Use Git for source-code management.Support ERPNext upgrades, patches, and migration activities.Maintain technical documentation.Must Have Skills: Experience with Frappe Cloud.Experience building custom Frappe applications.Experience with ERPNext implementation projects.Experience with ERP data migration.Knowledge of Docker.Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.Experience integrating payment gateways or banking systems.Experience with ERPNext upgrades and version migrations.Experience with CI/CD.Exposure to AI/GenAI integrations with ERP systems.What We Expect From You:We are looking for someone who can:Understand → Design → Develop → Test → Deploy → SupportYou should be comfortable taking ownership of a feature or customization rather than waiting for step-by-step technical instructions.You should also be comfortable interacting with Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and clients.Candidate Profile:Experience: 2–4 yearsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT and Engineering.Ideal Candidate:2+ years of hands-on ERPNext/Frappe development experience.Strong Python programming skills.Good understanding of ERPNext architecture and customization.Able to independently develop custom DocTypes and business workflows.Comfortable working with APIs and integrations.Good SQL/database knowledge.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills.Willingness to work directly with clients when required.Strong ownership and ability to deliver within project timelines.Why Join Pixeldust:Work on real-world ERPNext implementation projects.Work directly with clients across different industries.Opportunity to work on custom ERP products and applications.Exposure to AI + ERP automation.Opportunity to work across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and CRM.Learn modern cloud, data, and application technologies.Be part of a growing technology/product organization.
