The organization operates multiple hospitals for polio patients and a large international hospital in Udaipur offering free treatment to persons with disabilities from around the world. It also runs an orphan children's hostel and a residential school for blind, deaf, hard-of-hearing, and mentally challenged children, supported by vocational training in trades such as sewing, carpentry, and bamboo work. In addition, Narayan Seva Sansthan conducts technical training in areas like computer servicing and electronics repair, and organizes service camps that distribute food, medicines, assistive devices, and promote public health and environmental awareness.Role DescriptionOur systems currently run on the .NET stack. We are moving our entire ERP to ERPNext and building an in-house team to take this forward.This is a full-time, on-site role for an ERPNext / Frappe Developer based at Narayan Seva Sansthan's facilities in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The developer will design, customize, and maintain ERPNext and Frappe-based applications to support hospital operations, HR, purchase and stock, event management, educational programs, vocational training centres, and outreach services.Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new modules and features, configuring workflows, writing server-side and client-side scripts, and integrating ERPNext with internal and external systems. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating functional needs into technical solutions, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity and security. The developer will also provide technical support, documentation, and training to internal users, while continuously improving existing implementations in line with organizational goals.A specific priority for this role is building a properly governed, master-driven system — where data originates from masters, validations are enforced, and defined processes cannot be bypassed.QualificationsStrong ERPNext and Frappe Framework skills, including custom app development, doctype configuration, and workflow managementSolid programming skills in Python and JavaScript, with experience in server-side scripting, client-side scripting, and REST API integrationsGood understanding of databases and web technologies, such as MariaDB/MySQL, HTML, CSS, and basic Linux server administrationSkills in requirements analysis, system design, and documentation, with the ability to translate operational processes into effective ERP solutionsStrong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills, along with attention to detail and a focus on performance and securityEffective communication and collaboration skills, and comfort working with cross-functional teams in a mission-driven environmentRelevant experience implementing ERPNext or similar ERP systems in healthcare, education, or non-profit settings will be beneficial
