Erpnext / Frappe Functional Consultant

We are hiring a Functional Consultant - ERPNext (HR focus) at Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur.Important: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Udaipur. Applicants must currently be based and working in India, and must be willing to relocate to Udaipur. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position.About usNarayan Seva Sansthan has worked in disability rehabilitation since 1985. We run an 1,100-bed hospital, have completed close to five lakh free corrective surgeries, and operate through 480+ branches with over 1,000 employees. Every service we provide is free of cost. Our founder, Shri Kailash Chandra Agarwal, widely known as Shri Kailash Manav, was conferred the Padma Shri in 2008.What we are buildingWe are moving off a legacy .NET system onto ERPNext. Purchase & Stock is underway. HR comes next, then Event Management, and Hospital Management after that. Manufacturing for our artificial limb unit, School Management, Guest House and Transport follow.We are building an in-house team to own this. You would not be executing someone else's design — you would be making the design decisions.What the role actually isYou will own how the system is structured. Requirement workshops with our departments, process mapping, master data design, configuration, UAT, training, go-live and stabilisation.The part we care most about: governance. How master data is designed so that duplicates cannot be created. Naming series, link fields, validations, mandatory fields, role permissions and approval workflows — so that data cannot be entered arbitrarily by a thousand users across 480 branches. If a system is easy to enter wrong data into, it has failed, however well it is built.You will also be expected to document properly — BRD and FSD in Word, process flows, master and validation matrices in Excel. Not screenshots and chat messages.What we are looking for5–8 years total experience, of which at least 4 years on ERPNext3–5 end-to-end implementations, with at least one where you were the sole functional ownerGenuine depth in HR and payroll — salary structures, attendance and shift handling, leave policy, statutory compliance, appraisalA bias toward minimal customisation and correct configurationAbility to work directly with non-technical department headsHospital experience is a plus, not a requirement.
