In addition to clinical care, D&J Consultório Dentário promotes “Sorriso Solidário,” a community oral health initiative focused on supporting vulnerable children in schools across Luanda, reinforcing its commitment to the Angolan community.Role Description The Prosthodontics Specialist (Especialista em Próteses Dentárias) will be responsible for planning, designing, and fitting dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant-supported restorations. Daily tasks include conducting clinical assessments, taking impressions, collaborating with dental technicians, and ensuring precise adjustments and high aesthetic standards for each prosthesis. The role involves educating patients on treatment options, maintenance of prostheses, and overall oral health, while closely coordinating with the broader clinical team for integrated treatment plans. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Luanda, requiring presence at the clinic to support patient care and uphold the clinic’s quality and safety standards.Qualifications Strong clinical skills in prosthodontics, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and fabrication of fixed and removable dental prostheses.Experience with dental impressions, bite registration, and collaboration with dental laboratories and technicians.Knowledge of modern dental materials, digital dentistry tools, and infection control protocols.Excellent patient communication skills, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly and provide empathetic care.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental team and contribute to community-oriented initiatives.Degree in Dentistry and recognized specialization in Prosthodontics (or equivalent), with valid professional registration in Angola.Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in prosthodontics or restorative dentistry.Proficiency in Portuguese; basic English skills are an advantage.
