You’ll support quantity take-offs, cost calculations, supplier enquiries, and tender preparation, working closely with project teams to develop accurate and competitive proposals.Join a team that values technical learning, accuracy, and collaboration, where you’ll receive the practical exposure and guidance needed to build a strong career in estimation.About Your TeamYou will work closely with estimating, project, procurement, and technical teams to prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for epoxy flooring and protective coating works. You’ll also coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and applicators to obtain quotations, review material and labour costs, and clarify technical requirements, ensuring proposals reflect the project scope and specifications.Your RoleAs an Estimating Engineer - Jnr, you will:Review RFQs, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and pricing schedules for painting, coatings, waterproofing, insulation, and fireproofing works. Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. Assess project scope, risks, assumptions, exclusions, and cost optimization opportunities. Coordinate with Business Development, Operations, Procurement, and Technical teams to ensure timely bid submissions. Prepare commercial proposals, tender clarifications, and estimate summaries. Support variation pricing, client clarifications, negotiations, and project handover. What We’re Looking ForQualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of estimation and tendering experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects. Proven experience in industrial painting, protective coatings, waterproofing, insulation, and fireproofing estimation. UAE/GCC project experience preferred. Knowledge & Skills:Strong quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Proficiency in MS Excel; AutoCAD and ERP knowledge is an advantage. Strong analytical, commercial, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple tenders and work under tight deadlines.
