You’ll prepare detailed cost estimates, evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, assess risks, and identify value engineering opportunities to develop accurate and competitive proposals.Join a team that values accuracy, commercial insight, and collaboration, where you’ll contribute to key bid decisions and broaden your experience across complex EPC projects.About Your TeamYou will work closely with commercial, engineering, project, and procurement teams to prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive EPC tenders across mechanical, civil, structural, and instrumentation disciplines. You’ll also coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to evaluate quotations, clarify technical and commercial requirements, assess risks, and support negotiations and project handover upon award.Your RoleAs an Estimating Engineer - Snr, you will:Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract requirements. Analyze project scope, identify risks, assumptions, and exclusions. Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for: Mechanical: Piping, equipment, HVAC, firefighting systems, tanks, vessels, steel structures, and installation works. Civil & Structural: Earthworks, concrete, reinforcement, structural steel, roads, drainage, infrastructure, and finishing works. Instrumentation & Control: Instruments, control systems, cabling, cable trays, panels, junction boxes, and commissioning activities. Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. Prepare procurement cost comparisons and maintain market pricing databases. Assess technical and commercial risks, contract conditions, contingencies, and value engineering opportunities. Develop pricing schedules, technical/commercial proposals, tender analyses, and management recommendations. Participate in client clarifications, negotiations, and project handover upon award. What We’re Looking ForQualifications & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. 7-10 years of EPC estimation and tendering experience. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water Treatment, Infrastructure, Industrial, or Building projects. Understanding of EPC execution and procurement processes. EPC project experience in the UAE, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector. Knowledge & Skills:Strong quantity take-off and cost estimation capabilities. Ability to interpret mechanical, civil, structural, and instrumentation drawings. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software. Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, ACI, IEC, ISA, and BS standards. Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
