Estimation Director

MOBCO Group is seeking a highly experienced Estimation Director to lead the estimation function for major construction projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the contracting industry, a proven ability to secure high-value projects through competitive and accurate tendering, and strong leadership capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Estimation Department across all business units.Develop and implement tendering and estimation strategies to maximize project win rates.Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions.Oversee the preparation of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and commercial proposals.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, commercial, and project management teams during bid preparation.Identify project risks and opportunities and incorporate them into pricing strategies.Lead value engineering initiatives to enhance project competitiveness while maintaining profitability.Review subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure technical and commercial compliance.Present final estimates and bid strategies to executive management for approval.Establish and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.Analyze market trends, labor rates, material costs, and construction methodologies to maintain competitive pricing.Mentor and develop estimation engineers and managers to strengthen departmental capabilities.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and client requirements.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (Master's degree is an advantage).Minimum 25 years of experience in the construction and contracting industry.Proven experience working with reputable contracting companies.Extensive experience in the Saudi Arabian construction market.Demonstrated track record of successfully winning and securing major construction projects through competitive tender submissions.Strong knowledge of pre-contract management, cost estimation, value engineering, and tender strategy.Excellent commercial, contractual, and financial acumen.Strong leadership and team management skills.
