Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Description: Estimating EngineerWe’re Hiring!We are seeking an experienced Estimating Engineer to join our team for Saudi Aramco–approved and others Potential clients’ projects, ensuring high-quality construction, safety, and compliance with engineering standards.Role PurposeResponsible for preparing technically sound and commercially competitive project estimates and supporting HEMAMCO's tendering and proposal-development activities.Key Responsibilities• Review RFQs, ITBs, scope of work, specifications, drawings, and commercial requirements.• Identify tender deliverables, risks, exclusions, and clarifications.• Prepare BOQs/MTOs and cost breakdown structures.• Develop estimates for materials, manpower, equipment, subcontracting, indirect costs, and project overheads.• Issue RFQs to vendors/subcontractors in coordination with procurement.• Evaluate quotations and normalize pricing.• Develop unit rates and productivity assumptions.• Support preparation of commercial proposals.• Maintain historical cost databases and benchmarking information.• Participate in tender review and bid/no-bid discussions.• Support post-award handover of estimate assumptions to the project team.Qualifications & Experience• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.• Minimum 5 years of estimating/tendering experience preferred.• Industrial/EPC/construction estimating experience.• Saudi market knowledge strongly preferred.Technical Competencies• BOQ/MTO development.• Material, labor, equipment, and subcontract cost estimation.• Productivity and unit-rate development.• Tender analysis.• Advanced Excel.• Understanding of EPC/construction execution methodology.• Knowledge of Saudi vendor/subcontractor market is an advantage.GENERAL RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTSCandidates should demonstrate:• Relevant academic/technical qualifications for the position.• Relevant industrial, construction, infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or EPC experience.• Good written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.• Strong commitment to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.• Professional accountability and ability to work in a developing project organization.• Previous Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or other major Saudi industrial clients is an advantage where relevant to the position.• English communication capability appropriate to the position.HEMAMCO reserves the right to assess candidates against project-specific client requirements, professional certifications, technical competencies, and relevant experience before final selection.
