The role includes conducting site surveys, assessing manpower, tools, equipment, materials and operational requirements, and developing detailed cost estimates using Microsoft Excel.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct site visits and surveys to assess landscape maintenance requirements and project conditions.Review tender documents, scopes of work, BOQs, drawings and client requirements.Calculate and estimate the required manpower, including gardeners, irrigation technicians, supervisors, operators and management staff.Assess and estimate the required tools, machinery, vehicles and equipment for each project.Prepare detailed cost estimates covering manpower, accommodation, transportation, equipment, materials, consumables and subcontractor costs.Prepare technical and commercial proposals for landscape maintenance contracts and tenders.Develop manpower deployment plans and resource schedules based on the project scope and service requirements.Coordinate with operations, procurement and suppliers to obtain accurate quotations and current market rates.Prepare detailed pricing sheets, cost breakdowns and financial summaries.Maintain and update estimating databases, rate libraries and proposal templates.Support management during tender clarifications, client meetings and proposal negotiations.Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficient manpower and equipment utilization.Ensure all proposals are submitted accurately and within the required deadlines.Job RequirementsQualification and ExperienceBachelor's degree or diploma in Landscape, Agriculture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estimating, tendering or proposal preparation, preferably in landscape maintenance or facilities management.Good understanding of landscape maintenance operations, including irrigation, softscape, and equipment requirements.Experience in conducting site surveys and assessing operational resource requirements.SkillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, cost calculations, data analysis and preparation of professional pricing sheets.Ability to prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals.Strong knowledge of manpower planning and equipment estimation.Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to read and understand drawings, BOQs and scope of work documents.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders and deadlines
