قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Estimation Manager to lead the tendering and estimation function for construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete tendering process, preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, identifying project risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful bid submissions. This role requires strong commercial awareness, technical expertise, and leadership skills within the UAE construction industry.Key Responsibilities:Tendering & EstimationLead the complete tendering and estimation process from tender receipt through proposal submission.Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to determine project scope and develop bid strategies.Prepare, review, and approve detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, preliminaries, overheads, and profit margins.Ensure all tender submissions are accurate, competitive, compliant, and submitted within deadlines.Cost Analysis & Risk ManagementAnalyze project costs to ensure commercially viable and competitive bids.Monitor market trends, material costs, labor rates, and industry benchmarks within the UAE construction sector.Conduct value engineering and recommend cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality or project requirements.Identify commercial and technical risks, prepare risk assessments, and establish appropriate contingencies.Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and other stakeholders to gather information required for accurate estimates.Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and negotiate commercial terms.Participate in tender review meetings, bid clarifications, and project handover discussions.Support client presentations, technical clarifications, and commercial negotiations as required.Team Leadership & Process ImprovementLead, mentor, and develop the estimation team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.Maintain estimation databases, cost libraries, templates, and historical records.Implement best practices to improve estimation accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.Ensure compliance with company quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards and internal procedures.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.Professional certifications are an advantage.ExperienceMinimum 10–15 years of experience in construction estimation and tendering.At least 5 years in a managerial or senior estimation leadership role.Strong experience with building and infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC.
