Estimation Manager

Position: Estimation Department ManagerLocation: Head Office - Dammam, Saudi ArabiaJob Purpose:A Saudi contracting company is seeking an experienced Estimation Department Manager to lead its Head Office estimation and tendering activities.Key Responsibilities:• Lead bid/no-bid assessments and present recommendations to management.• Review tender documents and allocate approved tenders to the estimation team.• Oversee quantity take-offs, cost estimates, RFQs, and supplier and subcontractor quotation evaluations.• Review commercial and technical proposals to ensure accurate, competitive, and compliant submissions.• Assess tender risks, overhead costs, profit margins, and value-engineering opportunities.• Participate in client meetings, site visits, tender clarifications, and negotiations.• Lead post-bid reviews and maintain estimating procedures, cost information, and lessons learned.• Manage, develop, and evaluate the Estimation Department team.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.• 12–16 years of progressive construction estimating and tendering experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.• Previous working experience in Saudi Arabia, with sound knowledge of the local labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor markets.• Extensive construction experience with EPC and main contracting companies.• Experience estimating major civil, infrastructure, building, and/or industrial projects.• Experience dealing with major clients such as NEOM, Diriyah, RCRC, Qiddiyah, Royal Commission, Ministry of Transport, and Ministry of Defense is highly preferred.• Strong leadership, commercial, negotiation, and decision-making skills.• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.Interested candidates who meet the above requirements may apply through LinkedIn.All applications will be handled with strict confidentiality.
