Estimator | Tier 1 Contractor | DubaiOur client is a Tier 1 main contractor with an established presence in the UAE and a strong track record on large scale build projects. Due to a growing order book, they are looking to appoint an Estimator.The roleYou will be responsible for the full tender process on high value build projects from initial enquiry through to submission.Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications, and identifying scope, risk and opportunityPreparing bills of quantities and taking off from drawingsIssuing enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers, then analysing and levelling returnsBuilding up rates for labour, plant and materialsPreparing cost plans, budgets and tender submissionsAttending mid tender and post tender meetings with clients and consultantsWorking alongside planning, design and commercial teams on the overall tender strategySupporting handover of successful tenders to the delivery teamRequirementsProven estimating experience with a main contractorUAE or wider GCC experience on build projectsStrong knowledge of measurement, take off and rate build upConfident dealing with subcontractors, clients and consultantsProficient with estimating software and Excel
