Estimator – Printing & Packaging

German Printing Press (GPP), a leading F&B packaging and printing company based in Ajman since 2009, is hiring an Estimator to join our team.About the Role You'll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for printing and packaging jobs — from paper bags and cups to custom food-grade packaging — helping our sales and production teams price competitively while protecting margins.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for print and packaging jobs based on specifications, materials, and production requirementsLiaise with production, procurement, and sales teams to gather accurate job costing inputsAnalyze paper, ink, plate, and finishing costs to build competitive and profitable quotationsMaintain and update pricing databases and historical job cost recordsReview customer requirements and recommend the most cost-effective production approachSupport sales team with quick turnaround quotes for client inquiriesTrack estimate accuracy against actual job costs and flag variancesRequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the printing, packaging, or manufacturing industryStrong understanding of print production processes (offset, flexo, or digital)Proficient in Excel and estimating/ERP softwareDetail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skillsGood communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi a plus)Based in or willing to relocate to UAE
