Pershing Hills Elementary is committed to preparing learners for a changing world by providing an education that is relevant, practical, and holistic.Role Description The Etiquette and Refinement Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Lekki. The coach will design and deliver age-appropriate lessons on social etiquette, communication skills, personal grooming, and respectful behavior in classrooms and small groups. Daily tasks include collaborating with teachers to integrate refinement and social skills into classroom routines, observing learners and providing feedback on manners and interpersonal interactions, and organizing role-play activities, workshops, and school events that reinforce positive behavior. The coach will communicate with families and staff to promote consistent etiquette expectations, maintain records of learner progress, and support a school culture of kindness, confidence, and courtesy.Qualifications Strong skills in teaching, coaching, or mentoring children in Early Years and Elementary settings.Ability to model and teach social etiquette, communication skills, and personal grooming in a culturally sensitive manner.Excellent interpersonal, classroom management, and conflict-resolution skills.Experience designing structured lessons, activities, or programs that support social and emotional development.Effective written and verbal communication skills for engaging learners, colleagues, and families.Demonstrated patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with diverse learners and staff.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field; training in etiquette or social skills coaching is an advantage.Previous experience in a school environment or youth development program is preferred.
