EUC System Administration Specialist

Job Purpose:Perform the day-to-day planning, deployment, commissioning and running of Global IT Infrastructure and Operations services with focus on End User Computing.Participate in CAB reviews (Change Management).Key Responsibilities: •  Building and creating images for use on Desktop, Tablets and Rugged devices utilizing automation technology such as SCCM, Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.•  Deploying Desktop, Tablet and Rugged devices, monitors, docking stations, peripherals and software licenses to end users to perform their day-to-day duties in the manufacturing plant.•  Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory. Experience with OKTA a plus, as well as managing user permissions.•  Strong experience with SCCM/Intune/Endpoint Manager.•  Strong experience with GPO (Server Policies) and Login Scripts.•  Review with Cyber Security patches that need to be deployed to all client types, and develop rollout plans.•  Adding users to IT Systems e.g. Active Directory, Azure AD, MFA etc.•  Engineering, build, deployment and operation of IT Services to internal customers.•  Work with and build good relationships with External Service Providers and Product Vendors.•  Develops and maintains technology service, technical standards and process documents relating to Desktop IT services.•  Is responsible for root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of action items affecting equipment reliability for Desktop IT services and reduction of failure rates and downtime of IT/OT services.•  Develop maintenance strategies to support and improve MTBF.•  Develop & plan maintenance activities for the weekly work schedule.• Develops maintenance strategies and plans to maintain all production and non-production assets to support business operations.•  Contribute to the Knowledge System and share knowledge within the first line support team•  Manage ongoing technology delivery to service level agreements from projects to application and business owner for the Desktop•  Recommends cost savings/efficiencies•  Proactive in learning and taking certifications for desktop, cloud etc.•  Utilise automation tools such as Ansible to speed up tasks and increase quality; Windows patch version control for Windows 10 and 11.•  Maintaining and enhancing Microsoft virtual desktop on Azure and VMware virtual desktop environment.•  Able to write code in any of the following (PowerShell, Visual Basic, JavaScript, Python, C#).•  Maintaining and monitoring the AD, Intune and Endpoint Servers.•  Develop and enhance system usage efficiency.• Maintaining software and system updates.Education:•   Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Related•   Preferred: ITIL v3+ FoundationSkills & Competencies:•   Continuous Improvement•   Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills•   Service and customer oriented•   Process oriented & disciplined•   Strong analytical/problem solving skills•   Ability to influence & educate•   Proven ability to successfully interface with service providers and vendorsMinimum Experience:•   5+ years' experience working in a large company or with a government entity.• Experience with OT and/or Manufacturing a plus.
