European Head of Supply Chain

With a complex global Supply Chain, matrix reporting, and stakeholders across continents, you’ll have the opportunity to lead the largest region for a multi-billion revenue international food business, undergoing double digit growth year-over-year. With a CEO who came up through Supply Chain, this business puts the function front and centre, not in the background, and you’ll have substantial exposure to stakeholders at all levels, with high opportunity to make impact and drive transformation. ResponsibilitiesFull ownership for the end-to-end Supply Chain for the European regionAct as the critical link between the European business and the Global Supply Chain function, ensuring information flows effectively in both directions Manage and develop a high-performance team across the region across various functions Lead strategic relationships with logistics, warehousing and other external partners Contribute to global transformation and network optimisation initiatives, leading European implementation and ensuring change translates into performanceRequirementsSignificant leadership experience in Supply Chain, ideally within a complex, international and customer-focused environmentA demonstrated ability to lead through both influence and positional authority, building credibility across both global and regional stakeholdersExperience working in a large matrix organisation, operating across global, regional and functional reporting structuresExperience operating within complex quality-sensitive supply chains (food, FMCG or similarly demanding environments)Strong commercial and financial acumen An established people leader, able to build capable, engaged, and accountable teamsLocationBased in the Antwerp area, hybrid with regular travel across the region.
