Apply & track with Apply EdgeTo diagnose, repair, maintain, and service electric and hybrid vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards, safety procedures, and company guidelines. The role requires strong technical knowledge of EV systems, high-voltage components, electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair electric and hybrid vehicles using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of EV high-voltage systems.Diagnose and repair electric motors, battery packs, inverters, converters, charging systems, and related components.Conduct high-voltage battery testing, isolation checks, and safety inspections.Diagnose electrical and electronic faults using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment.Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance on EV and hybrid vehicles.Perform electrical system checks, wiring inspections, and component testing.Follow proper high-voltage isolation, lockout/tagout, and safety procedures before commencing work.Identify and report technical issues, damaged components, and potential safety concerns.Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and manufacturer repair instructions.Complete repair orders and technical documentation accurately.Ensure all repairs are completed within the required time and quality standards.Conduct post-repair testing and road tests where required.Maintain workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and EV-specific safety equipment.Keep updated with new EV technologies, systems, software, and manufacturer technical updates.Support other technicians and workshop staff with EV-related technical issues.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
