The company is committed to creating unforgettable experiences that go beyond a venue and deliver a memorable event journey for every guest.Role DescriptionThe Event Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in London, supporting the planning and delivery of river-based events across the Thames Luxury Charters fleet. Day-to-day responsibilities include liaising with clients to understand event requirements, preparing proposals and event schedules, and coordinating logistics such as catering, entertainment, setup, and guest flow. The role involves working closely with operations, sales, and onboard teams to ensure each event runs smoothly, meets safety and quality standards, and aligns with brand service expectations. The Event Executive will manage event documentation, maintain accurate records, assist with post-event follow-up, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and guest experience. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak event periods is required.QualificationsExperience in event planning and coordination, preferably within hospitality, venues, or corporate events.Strong client-facing skills, including relationship building, clear communication, and professional presentation.Organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple events, deadlines, and changing priorities.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to manage logistics, anticipate challenges, and ensure high-quality delivery.Comfort working on and around vessels, with an understanding of safety, compliance, and guest care in a maritime setting (training can be provided).Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, documents) and event management or CRM systems is an advantage.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to a dynamic operational environment.Previous experience in luxury hospitality or premium customer service environments is beneficial.Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the event schedule.
