Apply & track with Apply EdgeEvents Executive | Up to £33k + 30 days hol (+BH), 4 days wfh, 1 day in the London officeA leading organisation within the education sector is seeking a capable Events Specialist to help lead the planning and delivery of outstanding conferences, exhibitions, webinars, events and networking activities. This role would be suitable for someone looking to move up to Events Specialist level, who is passionate about the events industry and ideally educational opportunities for all. This is a predominantly remote role, and you will need to be in the office at least once a week and for meetings. Benefits are extensive including 30 days holiday (+BH), medical, 15% pension, private health, discounted gym, training and sponsorship of study, work abroad 3 weeks a year, paid volunteer leave and enhanced family leave.Working closely with senior stakeholders, partners and suppliers, you will manage the event lifecycle, ensuring events are delivered on time, within budget and exceed delegate expectations. This role offers the opportunity to shape engaging events that support professional development, knowledge sharing and community engagement and would suit someone who is looking for their next challenge as past of a lovely, close-knit team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end organisation of in-person, virtual and hybrid events.Develop and oversee event plans, timelines and budgets.Coordinate venues, suppliers, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors.Oversee delegate registration, communications and customer experience.Manage event marketing activity alongside internal teams.Produce post-event reporting, analysis and recommendations.Ensure events are delivered to a high standard and aligned with organisational objectives.RequirementsProven experience managing conferences, exhibitions, webinars and events.Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience managing budgets, contracts and supplier relationships.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Comfortable using event management platforms, CRM systems and Microsoft 365.If you are an Events Executive, Events Specialist or Events Coordinator, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation making a positive impact across the education sector.To ensure that your application is reviewed quickly by the right Consultant, please apply directly via the LinkedIn advert.
