This is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing programme of events, from client and networking events through to thought leadership evenings and community gatherings.Working as part of the marketing team, you’ll manage events from initial planning through to delivery and follow-up, collaborating with colleagues across the business as well as venues, suppliers, speakers and external partners.What you’ll be doingYou’ll take responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of a varied events programme.Your role will include:Planning events from concept through to completion and post-event follow-upSourcing venues and coordinating suppliers and external partnersManaging event logistics, budgets and administrationOverseeing guest lists, invitations and registrationsCoordinating speakers and preparing event materialsManaging attendee communications and ensuring a positive guest experienceSupporting on-the-day delivery and resolving any issues that ariseCapturing post-event information and maintaining accurate CRM recordsHelping evaluate the impact and outcomes of eventsLooking for ways to improve event processes as the programme continues to growThe role is based in Bristol, with occasional travel to other company offices and event venues.What we’re looking forYou’ll need previous experience coordinating events, conferences, hospitality, client events or professional networking activities.More importantly, you’ll be someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership. You’ll enjoy managing several priorities at once, building good relationships and keeping a close eye on the details without losing sight of the overall purpose of an event.You’ll also bring:Strong organisational and project coordination skillsConfidence working with colleagues, suppliers and senior stakeholdersClear and professional communication skillsExcellent attention to detailA calm and practical approach when plans or priorities changeThe ability to manage multiple events and deadlines effectivelyExperience using event management, CRM or marketing systems would be useful, but isn’t essential.
